Matt has spent more than eight years in the field of corporate renewal with a background in capital markets. He has particular expertise in corporate restructuring and working out troubled loan situations. An avid problem-solver, he pushes for consistent progress. He has helped numerous client companies successfully work through the corporate restructuring process, both in and out of bankruptcy. In that capacity he has worked closely with CEOs, CFOs and their respective accounting staff to support cash constrained situations, providing transparency and strategic analytical support to the restructuring process. He currently spends much of his time running the cash process in turnaround and restructuring situations – helping construct effective resolution strategies for the benefit of both the client and its creditors.

Matt earned his B.A. from the University of Mississippi – 1996, his MBA from Southern Methodist University – 2008, and his Master’s degree in Business Turnaround Management from the University of Detroit Mercy – 2010. He has served in numerous board positions for the Turnaround Management Association, both locally and globally, and is currently pursuing the Certified Turnaround Professional designation.
